These are extra special! Hand-embellished prints contain extensive added-by-hand color. All of my embellishing is done with colored pencil, which is wonderfully delicate in texture, but bold in color. I use 45-50 colors on each print. Layers of added color create depth, intimacy and luminosity. Each print feels fresh and handmade, because it is. These works are, in essence, a hybrid of a print and a drawing.

The embellished version of this print is a Limited Edition of 30 (10 of each size).

Each print includes 1-inch borders, which frame well with or without a mat.

• 17×17” paper - $475

• 28×28” paper - $875

• 32×32” paper - $1075

The images shown here may include different embellished iterations, created over time. Because each of these is unique and created to order, the embellishing colors are customizable. The overall spirit of the print will remain close to the images below, but I can, for example, embellish "more toward blue" or "more toward coral", etc. In fact, I enjoy the challenge of shifting and illuminating certain colors. If you have a color-palette vision in mind that is more specific than this, email me before purchasing to make sure we are on the same page.
