“The Fleshy Pinks”: Antiracist White Identity Meets Abstract Painting (2024)

I made a handful of small landscape paintings in tandem with The Fleshy Pinks series. Although the landscape paintings - like “Sunrise, Comic Book Filter” - aren’t using “flesh-toned” colors, I included them on this page because they were made at the exact same time, and they explore the same paint as flesh / painting as object ethos.
